I currently have a 3 year old Netgear router which supports Wireless b/g. I bought a MacBook Pro in June last year, and it supports Wireless N. Whats the main benefit of buying an Airport Extreme (which is included in the Time Capsule) versus buying a Netgear (or other manuf router) that supports Wireless N? I also like the fact that Time Capsule can be a wireless print server, since I currently use my Windows desktop for Mac printing. Last, I currently use SuperDuper to backup my Mac to a 500GB external drive. SuperDuper creates a bootable backup. Does Time Machine do this also? If not, would SuperDuper take advantage of the Time Capsule if I keep using that to backup? Im not to justify a purchase of a 500GB Time Capsule versus buying a standalone router that supports Wireless N and keep using my current 500GB external for backups.
