Time Machine Permission problems

Hello,
I RESET my wife's Macbook to factory settings, erasing all the contents from the harddrive.

I'm now trying to restore from a Time Machine back up. The problem is all of the Folders tell me I don't have permissions to access the folders. Previously her user account was "MOM". Not thinking, I changed it to her name when I set up the new computer.

How do I gain permissions to a folder I restore from backup as it gives me access denied?
