Time machine pruner/ size limiter for folder without partition

I have my TM on a shared drive with other backup files. Is there an app that will limit the folder size without partitioning my drive? For example, the drive is 4TB but I want the TM folder to be 2GB with the rest of my files to fill the remaining 2TB.
Then when my TM gets 'full' it will automatically delete old backups as normal.

This looks like it will do the trick, you could also look into disk usage quotas.
