Hey everyone.

There are times when Time Machine freezes up on me, and when I force quit it I can never get back to the desktop. The only thing I see is the desktop background and whatever app was at the front. Finder is invisible as is the Force Quit window (when I try to relaunch Finder, which doesn't help).

Anyway, so I'm in Time Machine looking at "now". But then I click on a date that was a few months ago. It animates to that window, but then it freezes. The animation is still going on, but I can't do anything. I've already mentioned what it does when I force quit.

The only thing I can think of is that it's accessing the data, but I don't hear or see the external drive doing anything. I also let it sit there for a minute, but nothing. Maybe I should wait longer?

I also noticed one thing though... I was in my downloads folder when I launched Time Machine. The only thing that was in there was that nice little application thing that puts everything in the folder into the trash. I think someone in this forum made it. I forgot the link, and googleing it doesn't really turn up anything. But anyway.... the point is, that's what was in there... lol

So that's in there. As the windows are flying by as I go further back in time, I notice that at some point in time Delete All's icon changes from a folder to the generic application icon. I wonder if it's related to my Time Machine freezing?

Anyone else have this freezing issue? Is it just a lag? It's happened twice.

Also... does anyone use Weather Network's dashboard widget? Mine stops working randomly so I have to close and reopen the widget. Is that just an issue with them that they haven't fixed yet? Apple's weather is so inaccurate for me (Toronto). Damn you AccuWeather...

Unless there's a decent looking and accurate weather widget like Weather Network's that I haven't found yet...

Anyways.... ideas?
