I searched mroogle a few pages deep, but I couldn't find my topic... sorry if it exists.

So I just got back my second refurb iMac (the first one had a screen issue) and restored it from my time capsule. Apparently there were two sets of data on there. One from my old computer, a 12" pb and a back up from my iMac before I sent it back.

Unknowingly, I restored my iMac from the pb's data file. I was looking around and trying to see if there is a way to 1) locate and 2) restore the iMac's newer file, but I couldn't find it.

The issue that I am having is that both of my files are under the same name. Originally I thought that the iMac would continue to back up the same file but I guess that I was mistaken.

So can anyone point me in the direction to locate the iMac file and help me to restore that one?
