Hi guys,
I have to do a restore from a 10 day old time machine backup to my MacBook Pro.

However in the last 10 days I have deleted lots of images from my iCloud Photo Library on another mac. The same iCloud Photo Library is used on both macs.

When I do the restore to the MacBook will the iCloud Photo Library try to reupload those images or it will know I made the changes recently on another Mac and then delete them after the restore from the MacBook Pro?

Cheers

As just a partial answer to your question, I delete entire albums and all of the photos in them from my library, and then a few minutes later add them back again after emptying the trash with no issues.

So my expectation would be that when you do the restore the deleted photos would be re-uploaded. If you don't want that to happen turn off iCloud photos, re-delete the ones you don't want, then turn it back on.

Haven't tested though, just a guess.
