I am running time machine. I have an external drive that crashed and is backed up. The external is also my itunes drive. I now have a new drive and would like to restore to the new external or restore itunes library to my Imac hardrive. The music is in time machine but I can't get anything to restore it just hangs at the first file saying some files can't be read or written? Need help!

Any error code associated with the problem?
Did you try restoring a single file from an older backup?
