I am new to MAC, and wanted to know a few things!
If i did a clean install of 10.5, could i just restore the things i wanted from time machine? iTunes files, documents etc etc? Will my new install see my time machine and be able to let me browse it as i do now? If i did a clean install, i wouldn't want to restore everything, is this possible?
Thank you in advance!

That's how it's worked for me.

After a clean install, I simply browsed to my Time Machine drive like it was a regular external HD and then bring back the files and folder I want.

The only step different from a regular drive was having to double-click on the Time Machine disk image and waiting for it to mount on the desktop.
