My hard drive failed on my Macbook and I installed a new hard drive. I've had time machine running since January and have had no apparent problems with time machine backing up. When I tried to "restore from TM backup" from the Leopard disk the latest available backup was from March 19th. I know TM has been running and working since then. Looking at the backup files show that the 19th was the latest backup, but before the hd failed I had recovered some files through TM that were after the 19th. Odd. I went to the Apple store and though the genius was friendly, he had no idea why that was the case. I have one guess, and that is that I switched from having my external hooked up directly to having it run through my airport extreme. I know that this was "unsupported" but worked. Has anyone else had this experience, and if so what did you do? I did recover about 99% of everything, so it's not a dire situation for me, but I did want to let it be known that full recoveries from a wireless TM backup may not work.

Thanks.
