Time machine - Restoring an failed external drive

Hi,

I have a lacie external drive which has just failed and died. I need to recover the data from that failed drive.

Fortunatley, I have a second external drive that set up as a time machine drive. This drive has been backing up the lacie drive up until it died.

I need to replace the dead lacie drive with either a new external drive or a second internal drive.

What i need to find out is how do i tell time machine to restore the back up of the dead lacie drive to a new location, either a new internal or external drive.
