But, when I "enter" my Time Machine, it shows the last two backups it made. I don't want to make ANOTHER backup of 400 GB from my iMac. What can I do to make Time Machine recognize the old backups and just do an incremental backup?

Got it to work by reading this thread: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/1329328/

In summary, delete the Time Machine plist files in both User<Library<Preferences (will have a bunch of numbers and stuff somewhere in there) and in Mac HD<Library<Preferences. Restart computer.

In my case, after selecting the disk to use in the Time Machine preferences, it still said no latest backup.

BUT after telling it to back up now, it did an incremental one (know this cause it only backed up 40 GB, not 400).
