Time Machine Search

Is it possible to do a search in Time Machine to find a specific item, which I deleted, but do not remember when I last had it?

Just want to add that I found the file I wanted.

I just entered Time Machine, typed the name of the file into Spotlight, and then went back day by day until I found it. It was very easy to do.
