Nope. I back up alternating onto two DS3612xs's, and no problems at all with my 15" MBP 2016.

Hopefully the latest DSM which I am on. Doesn't make the issue I am having. Good luck

seems to still be working.

I've been getting some error 16s lately. Seem to be solved by enabling smb3 in DSM. Keeping an eye on it. I believe DSM 6.1 will likely solve it once and for all by allowing me to turn off AFP and use SMB with time machine, but I haven't installed the beta yet. Will try it on the box that is acting more goofy (only one of my two 3612s is acting odd from time to time) and report.
