Had issues with my mac and called apple support who suggested I do a system restore from time machine. I have a time capsule 4th gen and a 2007 imac. I started the sytem restore based on the instructions from the apple support person. It progressed through the restore over the course of around 20+ hours. (would check periodically and saw the % progress). It finished but now has been saying "finishing restore..." for over 6 hours at this point.

Has anyone run into this before and know if it's stuck or just based on the amount of time it took to go through the restore process this is normal?

Thanks.

Since I started using Time Machine with a 2007 iMac, then with a 2009 MacBook Pro, and finally, a 2013 iMac, it has never worked for migration... and frequently just stalled. I've used seven different backup drives over the years, and always had problems. I'm wondering if anyone has experienced 100% functionality using Time Machine.
