As always, searching didn't help me much so I think a new thread is acceptable. I have a backup disk connected to my iMac and I use it with time machine. I am wondering if I can somehow wirelessly sync my family laptops to the drive, and wirelessly use time machine with it. Is this possible? Thanks. (all the machines are running leopard, obviously.)

Sure is, I just set this exact thing up tonight when I installed Leo on my Mac Mini. I posted about an hour about it, but heres what I did:

500GB FW400 drive directly connected to my Mini

MBP connects to the Mini w/filesharing and my MBP's TM sees the drive as a usable TM BU drive. I'm actually 3.5GB into a 90.1GB initial backup... WIRELESSLY - as I type this!

Thats odd... I can see the drive too thru file sharing, except when I go to time machine and it click "set up" an empty list comes up, without any usable drives on it. I'm using a 500 gig USB drive
