I recently purchased a 500gb time capsule and have my iMac & MBA both doing time machine backups to it.
Yesterday, I changed the TM drive to an external Western Digital drive for about a minute (I was just testing something) and now when I change the TM drive back to the Time Capsule Time machine doesn't realize that it has already been backing up to to the TC and wants me to set up TM all over again (which would include the initial back up that takes forever).
So my question is: Is there a way to make time machine just pick up where it left off on back ups on the time capsule instead of having to do the initial back up all over again??
