Time Machine to backup File Vault on TC?

Has anyone been able to figure out how to get Time Machine to backup a File Vault to a Time Capsule?

I have connected my TC and logged out and let it sit over night with no backup =\

There must be a way...


Can i simply take the home directory out of the Exclude List?
