Help, please,

since I upgraded to Lion, the time machine backs up every hour or so and it needs more than 1/2 hour for a back up. What is wrong, what am I supposed to do or set differently?

Thanks for your help and advice!

Time Machine IS suppose to backup every hour. There is no setting in OS X to change this. You'd need a 3rd party to adjust.

As for the 1/2 hour it's taking to complete a backup, that doesn't sound right. How are you backing up.....USB, Firewire, wireless to a Time Capsule?

Also, is Time Machine continuing to use the same backup from Snow Leopard....or did you start from scratch?
