Time Machine, Upgraded to bigger HDD, backup on same external without creating new...

Sorry for the weird title.

So I've upgraded my MB's HDD to a bigger one. I want to back up with the same external drive, but not have Time Machine create a totally new "backup" folder, because it's basically all the same documents, probably less. So anyway to go about this?
