The Waste
I have a MBP 15" 2.4 GHz running 10.5.7. I replaced the internal hard drive in it yesterday with a 500 GB Seagate unit. I used Time Machine to restore my data onto this new drive. I thought it worked perfectly. However, now when I try to perform a backup, it fails.

I ended up completely wiping the external hard drive and starting over to no avail. Below is a copy of the log I captured using Time Machine Buddy:

Starting standard backup
Backing up to: /Volumes/Time Machine/Backups.backupdb
Event store UUIDs don't match for volume: Brandon's SSS
No pre-backup thinning needed: 100.78 GB requested (including padding), 725.34 GB available
Waiting for index to be ready (-911 < 0)
Indexing a file failed. Returned -1134 for: /Applications/.com.apple.timemachine.supported, /Volumes/Time Machine/Backups.backupdb/Brandon Murphy/2009-07-21-153223.inProgress/EA060A6E-4A51-4CFC-8ACB-76E2AAAD2A4B/Brandon's SSS/Applications/.com.apple.timemachine.supported
Aborting backup because indexing a file failed.
Stopping backup.
Copied 0 files (0 bytes) from volume Brandon's SSS.
Copy stage failed with error:11
Backup failed with error: 11

Can anyone shed some light on what may be happening? Thanks!

No, Spotlight is not indexing while this occurs.

I will add that my external HD is connected to my Airport Extreme, so I'm essentially using it's essentially a Time Capsule. However, when I restored the data to my new internal drive, I connected the external drive directly to the computer. Not sure if that is at all relevant, but I want to include all possible info on the situation.
