I tried setting the backup frequency with
sudo defaults write /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.backupd-auto StartInterval -int 36000
but it backed up after about 6 hours not 10.

I just started a backup manually. Time Machine claims it will back up again in about 25 minutes.

I need back ups to happen every 12 hours.
