Time Machine?

So this probably sounds like a totally irrelevant or stupid question, but, with the external drive I am using as my Time Machine back-up, do I leave it connected to my MacBook all the time, or not? Is leaving it connected bad for the hard drive or anything? Thanks

Time Machine does automated incremental backups hourly, so you'll want to leave it connected.
