Hello

For some reason, every Tuesday, Time Machine starts a full backup. For the other 6 days of the week it does its normal incremental backups.

I can't for the life of me work out why and it's almost got to the point now where I don't trust it. Looking on my Time Capsule there seems to be all the previous backups, I just don't understand why it's doing a full backup once a week.

This isn't expected behaviour is it?

I've checked the backup logs and there doesn't seem to be anything strange. Here is the log for the full backup it's currently doing:

Starting standard backup
Attempting to mount network destination using URL: afp://xxxxxe-TC.local/Data
Mounted network destination using URL: afp://TIME CAPSULE.local/Data
QUICKCHECK ONLY; FILESYSTEM CLEAN
Disk image /Volumes/Data/ MacBook Pro.sparsebundle mounted at: /Volumes/Time Machine Backups
Backing up to: /Volumes/Time Machine Backups/Backups.backupdb
No pre-backup thinning needed: 213.50 GB requested (including padding), 647.29 GB available

--------------------------------
I'm using a 1Tb Time Capsule, backing up a 15" MacBook Pro fully patched.

If anyone can explain why it's doing this, (and if it should be doing it) I would be very grateful.

Thanks

- D
