Hey, I've got 'Set date and time automatically' selected in the system preferences, but for some reason, the OS does not sync automatically. I don't use bootcamp and my computer is rarely turned off (but quiet often in sleep mode over night).

I must have one rubbish crystal on the motherboard because I'm getting a clock drift of 5 minutes over the course of a few days.

If I open up the time and data preferences, to double check that it is set to automatically sync the time, it immediately syncs the time. It kind of defeats the object of 'automatically' if I have to keep navigating to the menu each time I want an accurate clock though.

Do any of you chaps know how to alter how often OSX re syncs it's clock? Thanks. :)
