Apologies if i've missed something somewhere, i'll take the consequent flaming if so. Does anyone know what time the update will be available? As in, will it be available at 12:00am tonight/tomorrow morning. I'm UK so i'm hoping GMT...

This is just proof you didn't search. There have been at least 6 of these threads I've noticed today.
0300 your local time. Just wake up around 0230 and be sure to keep hitting the "check for update" button every few seconds until it works.

Firstly, this is like the fourth or fifth post of this kind today.
Also, i am BST (if you are GMT, im assuming you are UK time, which at the moment is GMT +1 cause of daylight savings), just try and plug your phone in at midnight and see if it comes up with anything.

Gm is the gold master release or final release of 3.0 thats been sitting on various torrent sites for the last week, upgrade now if your so anxious, its not gonna fry your phone, what do you think is being put on the 3gs's rolling out of china for the last couple weeks????
it hasnt fried anyones phone as of yet, the worst that can happen is your phone will lock or something when 3.0 launches and thats slim, IF it happens just plug your phone in and update to 3.0 via itunes, but as I said this looks like whats getting released tomorrow, so your just getting the jump on everyone, and also you wont have to deal with overloaded servers tomorrow.
