So I am about to order the new 13" rMBP but I wanted to try out this new trackpad. So I went to a BB today and with no one to bother me, I went through everything, including the different settings. Folks this thing is a real winner. While the pad itself does not move, the way they engineered the Haptic feedback to respond you simply feel as though you are making a regular click all the time. Zero difference between my current 2013 rMBP and the new one. The force touch feature should have several extra uses if Apple is allowing third party apps to tap into it (no pun intended) I was even able to set the right bottom section of the TP as the "right click" as I usually do. So I looked up Michigan on wikipedia. Then I took cursor to the word Lansing. Pressing in a little brought up a dictionary box. Pushing a little hard (without moving finger) brought up a bigger box with more info / pictures of the State Capital. I am off to order my custom build. I hope this helps someone.
