Is it possible to have a time stamp for every text message when viewing a text message/iMessage/SMS conversation in the iPhone text message app?

I can see the last text time when looking at all text conversations and the "Load Earlier" option with the date on it but there are huge gaps in the conversations with labeling time.

Drag the message screen left to see the time stamps.

^if you have more questions regarding features on iOS 7

One more reason to get BiteSMS. It will show you the time stamp on every message automatically if you want. Let's hope it can happen!

There are better alternatives to bitesms out there. I have time stamps on all my messages and no bitesms installed.

Maybe just for time stamps there are better alternatives.

And both things you mentioned still require jailbreak, soooo....

If you mean without jailbreak, there is no option that I am aware of.

Bitesms is considered one of the best tweaks for Jailbreak. After using it for a few weeks, it messed up my mms (well known issue) and also made it impossible to remove. Luckily I'm patient and started making it work.
