Are there any alternatives (preferably free) to http://www.squarebox.co.uk/catdv.html to extract the time stamp from DV video and let it be burnt into the main video?

I see there are loads of windows utilities - some free - but I can't find anything for Mac.

A colleague needs the time stamp included for professional reasons; I know it's not something that normally looks good!

Any help much appreciated.
Jonathan.

this is one area where fcp lacks (im assuming you captured in that). :(
catdv is great, but only if the original dv tapes had the camera set to record the timestamp (if i have that correct). i've had client tapes where the x amount had the timestamp and other tapes did not (ironically from the same camera).
