Before upgrading to 10.5.6., if I attached a file, I'd see not just the date but the time it was last saved. This seems to have disappeared (along with my time received column in Mail).

Any solutions, please?

As to the column, right click on the bar that show subject. You have several choices as to what to show.

On the date of the attached file, you should be able to highlight it and "Get info" on it.

Thanks, but... Neither works, I'm afraid. It's as if the time function in the Mac isn't communicating with the Mail program.

Just fixed it. Someone on another forum suggested, as I wanted the date to appear by the time on the top bar, to rejigger the Time & Date preference to show it. Now that I've taken it away, the time shows in both places.
