You can't help but notice the abundance of iPhone threads floating around here, not surprising considering how amazing it is and what a buzz it has caused. But with that buzz has come numerous homeless posts wandering the cold dark alleys of MacRumors.

Since the device is for real and there are so many posts dedicated to discussing its many facets, I thought it might be a good time to consider adding a new forum topic dedicated to the iPhone so that we could consolidate these threads. I suppose "hardware" would likely be the best place for this, but obviously there are other potentially suitable areas such as "iTunes". Please vote and remember every time you make a thread that has no home G-d kills a kitten, oh wait that's a different thread topic woops:rolleyes:

maybe even combine some of the smaller, similar ones.

Community and Other News into one?

Other Mac Topics and Other News into one?

Good plan - all those 'Cingular sucks' and 'Does the iPhone do this?' threads will have a home we can all avoid.

It's a long time between now and June (when somebody might actually own one). Let's see if discussion dies down in a few weeks before setting up a new forum.
