Time to Buy PowerMac?

I am in the market for a PowerMac, used or new, but I got to thinking that maybe right now isn't the time to make a purchase like this. I don't know if apple has any plans for a new PM anytime soon or what...

Wow, you've been under that rock a long long time.

They updated the PowerMac with a 4-8 core beast called the Mac Pro, and as recently as last week, updated it to include an 8-Core model as standard.

What is your budget? What are your demands?
