time to get a white macbook unibody

ok im looking for a white macbook. the only specifications are: it must be fully functional, it must not have any large cracks, and it must have a core2duo so i can upgrade to lion. now this is were it gets complicated.... i am looking to spend no more than $275 on this computer used. do you think its possible to find one like this? thanks guys!

Maybe possible, but probably not, as even the white MacBook from 2008 can still fetch 400 to 600 USD.
Just browse Craigslist and eBay on a daily basis to maybe find such steal.

Man, best of luck to you in your search. Heck, a lot of iBook G4's still go for around 300 dollars.

Just to put things into perspective for the OP and his spending limit:

Bought a 2008 black MB C2D, 4GB RAM, 2.4GHZ with 320GB HD for $550 last year.
Bought a 2010 white MB C2D, 4GB RAM, 2.4GHZ with 250GB HD for $600 in December.

Unless the seller is clueless, you won't find one for $250 that is worth owning. I've seen some white MBs on Craigslist lately in bad shape for more then what I paid for my 2010 MB.

I just sold a Late 2009 Unibody White MacBook for $600 on craigslist. It had a 2.26GHz Core 2 Duo, 4GB of RAM, 250GB HD and brand new top case installed by Apple with 2 months left in warranty. I have never seen a MacBook for less than $400, and that was a 2006 Core Duo model.
