Is anyone selling their rMBP now? I feel that for the price I could get for mine I could get better specs elsewhere and save money. Heck, I'd buy an iMac afterward but it doesn't really pay since the prices are similar spec-for-spec. The XPS 15 is tempting with a display resolution higher than 2880 for $1500, but I'm not sure on the Hackintosh ability.

I won't need the portability for another year or two, if ever... damn it, iPad :D.

Mac dilemma.

Dont get the XPS 15 for hackintosh ability. Get XPS 15 because its just better than the Retina Macbook Pro... if it turns out to have lower battery life and lower resolution display than the refresh.

The $1499 configuration will not be equipped with the high-res screen.

Here's a quote from The Verge (emphasis added):
The catch could be price. The new XPS 15 will start at $1,499 on October 18th, but that's just for the base model with a Core i5 processor, a 1080p screen, integrated Intel graphics, hybrid storage, and even a smaller battery. That's already pricy, and it's likely Dell will charge a good bit more to get the specs that set this laptop apart.
