Yeah a lot of us use "old iphones" but very few of us want to buy new iphones this year, mainly because very greedy pricing. Apple has hard time selling regular 14 especially the plus, the plus is just almost same price as 13 pro max which doesn't make sense.

Less people buy new iPhone then less people buy any Apple products. Profit of Apple should drop a lot very soon.

Won’t happen. The majority of people are not like us. When they decide it’s time for a new phone they will go to the store or website and look for a new phone. They don’t update year after year. Only when they need it. They aren’t going to notice that not much has changed, their just going to look for the newest phone in their price range

Even non tech general public cares if they get what they pay for, Apple has hard time selling regular 14 and Plus is a fact now.

Yes, they do. But not enough to dive into all that it is. Pro models will win because the allure will be there to take from the regular models. I’m the future I see Apple ditching multiple lower price tiers like the 14/14 plus and having one the size of the 14 that’s just regular like the 14, and them 2 pro models.

Apple biggest quarter is coming up. Don’t do it lol. Wait until after the holiday quarter

Apple predicted 85% of launch sales to be early adopter Pro sales according to Kuo, the analyst you just linked as a source. I don’t think they were depending on the non-Pro models for a successful launch.

If you think Apple's stock is solely based on one iPhone let alone the entire iPhone lineup then I've got some bad news for you.

It used to be the annul best selling iphone is always the latest regular model. Apple is in big trouble if selling number of regular 14 is not closed to expectation at all.

I think the iPhone 14 lack of "mini" and general low sales performance could go both ways. It could also push people more towards Pro/ProMax and as a consequence could raise "average selling price" of iPhone, pushing AAPL up, rather than down.
