Sorry, I know there are a ton of topics today. I didn't upgrade to the 7 due to the lack of new features and the loss of subsidies. Is it now worth going from the 6 to the 8?

Like most, I'm not feeling the X. It's crazy expensive and I don't feel like carrying a +1K device around everyday.

We don't know if it's worth it to you or not. What makes the 8 more appealing to you than the 7?

Im in the same boat. Looks line most carriers will be giving $300 to trade in. I might just go for the 8 + 256 gb and be set for 5 years.

I found my 6 to be pretty slow and upgraded to a 7 Plus about two months ago. Have not regretted it since; it is much faster, the bigger display is nice, the extra battery life is immensely useful, and the cameras are better. I can only image how much faster the 8 will be compared to your phone.

That being said, if you find your 6 to still be serving you fine (as in, you don't find it slow and everything works the way you want it to) you probably don't need to upgrade.

My 6 has been getting slower and slower by day. I'm pretty sure that Apple will do their best to cripple it with iOS 11. I've done all I can to speed it up, though it's crazy how slow it's gotten.

Thanks for the information about a trade-in. That would definitely make me go for an 8.

All of that and I've seen other positive things such as quick charging, etc.

Yeah if that's an issue it would be a nice speed increase for sure. Especially on iOS 11.
