I am on Monterey which is working just fine, and I normally wait several months at a minimum before upgrading to the latest OS to ensure the bugs have been shaken out.

Any reasons to still hold off? And if it is time, what features does Ventura offer that are major/notable, if any?

Yes, if you're happy with your Mac and the features offered are not compelling for you, then there's little reason
This is not a strong disagree, but I don't think user facing features should be the only consideration. There are security and other under the hood improvements too. I also think that staying current keeps the level of change more manageable. Skipping whole system updates makes it more jarring when you finally make the jump.

I think it depends on what purpose your Mac serves. If it's critical that it doesn't have any issues then just wait. There's nothing in Ventura that's going to be life-changing for you but there could be bugs that cause you grief.

My rule of thumb is it the machine is critical to whatever you're doing wait for the .1 update. By then most major bugs have been patched.

Waiting is smart, I think. We have lived all our lives without the Ventura so we can easily wait until it actually works as it should. - There are three Macs in my home and every year we get about 10 upgrades. So waiting saves me from a lot of updates and problems. There are 3 iPhones and 3 iPads as well here. So I also wait for a long time before upgrading those.
