Time to upgrade

so today I stumbled upon a pair of x5650's going for $500. Compared to the going price on ebay this seems to be a killer deal to have a 12 core monster. So I've highly considered buying them, selling my 3,1 and picking up a 4,1 to drop them into.

As long as I follow the guide here I should be alright?

Yep it's a good read and helpful guide if you're getting a 4.1 Mac Pro, the author mentioned that if you use 1mm washers, he commented the heatsinks are not stable and prefers the other method by counting the revolutions of turns with the allen wrench. Good luck
