I voted 1PM. I actually think the best way is to wake up an hour before the store opens.. get there exactly when it opens in the morning, and inquire about lines, if there aren't people there already. Then if it's clear, leave and come back in 2 hours. Then the closer it gets to the time, I may just sit in my car and wait it out. 12PM to 6 doesn't seem too bad.. I mean it's a lot of time, but it's worth it, no?

I have a friend from work who is going to ride past the Apple store on his way in. This way I will know how things are looking in the morning.

Depending on the results of that, I will get in line that morning. However, I would rather get online close to noonish.
