Time Zone

Picked up a new 5s on Sprint Friday and am loving the improvement over my old 4. One thing I noticed today though is that when I'm set to automatic it keep changing to the wrong time zone.

I live in Knoxville so it should be New York but it keeps changing to Chicago. Is anyone else having this problem with their new phone?

Yes, same thing happening to me. Comes up Detroit for a second, then goes to Chicago. I'm only a few miles from Detroit. I've tried everything, not sure what to try next.

My wife has a 4S with i0S7 and it works fine on her phone. Comes up Detroit. Any suggestions?

It's a Sprint issue. Sprint is aware of it and is working on a solution. Only affects the 5c and 5s and not the 5.

There was another Sprint user asking the same thing in here a few days back.
