Hi all,
I'm hoping you can help me.
I've been lurking here for some time but took the plunge last week and bought a MacBook Pro 13"
This week I'm planning on getting a Timecapsule and could do with a little advice on how to set it up.
What I would like to do is keep my BT Home hub for some devices and use the time capsule for internet and HDD access for others.
The main use will be backups and as a shared area
From what I understand if I set the TC up in bridge mode I should be able to do this. I also cannot connect both units using an Ethernet cable it has to be wireless.
BT Home Hub
Games consoles and guest access through Openzone
Timecapsule
MacBook pro (OSX)
Desktop PC (Windows 7)
HP wireless printer
Windows Laptops (XP and Vista)
2 iPhones (iOS4)
My other option would be just to set the TC up as a Wireless device on my current network?
Thanks for your help
