Happily connected my TimeCapsule, all lights green, and back up is running and running for two days now (180 Gb). IS IT A JOKE, can i use TC as ordinary exter hard, can i disable TimeMashine and use TC as w-less hard drive:(
 
You should always do your first Time Machine backup to a Time Capsule using the built-in Ethernet port rather than doing it wirelessly. Otherwise, as you've discovered, the first backup can take several days instead of several hours.

All subsequent backups can be done wirelessly with few issues, as it's very rare for any subsequent backups to be more than a gigabyte in size, even after a system update.
