I have a macmini, mbp and imac backing up to a 1 tb timecapsule. the machine and iMac backup fine. The mbp keeps giving me this error:

"The backup disk image “/Volumes/Data/my name MacBook Pro (2).sparsebundle” could not be accessed (error -1)."

If I restart the TC I can run TM on my MBP without issue, but restarting TC is not a permanent fix.

Ive run disk utility on the the TC and the MBP disk image, and this still persists.

Any suggestions? I am actually worried that the existing backups may be flawed also.

Should I just delete the MBP backups and start from scratch?

I have this problem too.

It affects my iMac and MBA, which run on OS Lion.

The problem seems to correct itself after a number of attempts, but every time the computers are switched off, the problem reoccurs.

My Alu MB runs Snow Leopard, and has no issues.

Count me as one that also is having this problem with my 27 inch iMac as well. Been doing it for several weeks now
