I have a few daily Calendar events that open Applescript files, which show me on-screen reminders etc. One, for example, is set to trigger at 12:30 midday.

Since 10.13.2, these events are also triggering the files when I wake the computer every morning. I'm not sure why that should happen, and obviously this is not what I want.

Any ideas how I can stop this and revert to just triggering at the set times?

My experience with custom alerts in Calendar has been that they’re unreliable. I won’t set them up for myself or any clients.

Not any help to you…but good luck!

Thanks Brian. These Applescript-triggering events had been reliable for me until 10.13.2, when the launch-on-wake thing started happening, so I'm guessing something's changed. No one else seeing this?
