Timelapse length question

I have a 64GB iPad Air 2 and I want to make some 24 hour timelapse videos.

I have 49GB space free. If I plug the iPad in, is it plausible to get 24 hours of recording out of the thing using the timelapse setting? Is it safe to leave the iPad both plugged in and running for that long?

Yes it's plausible, and yes it's safe (an iPad can run indefinitely when plugged in).

I have a new problem. When I try to watch the timelapse back I get a "Loading.." message on it, it's been like that for about 5 hours now. I've tried hard resetting the iPad but it's still stuck on "loading"

It normally takes a bit of time to put the time-lapse together in my experience.

Have you tried exporting the timelapse to a computer?
