TimeMachine alert?

I use a few different external HD's to back up using TimeMachine. Is there a way for TimeMachine to alert me when it's done backing up a disk so I can switch to another disk? Thanks!

Not without a third-party utility, of which I'm not aware of any that would provide this functionality. You could just look at the icon... if it's not spinning, it's finished (or hasn't started).

Thanks for the prompt reply... Yes, that's true. But I was hoping to find something - even some 3rd part app that would sound an alarm when the back up is over. Sometime the backup is over, and then time passes and it starts another cycle. That's why I'm looking for some kind of solution... Thanks!
