TimeMachine HD size error

Hi

I find it strange that TimeMachine tells me "not enough space to back up" when the total amount of included stuff to back up is 169.6GB and my backup disk is 189.6GB.

It says backup requires 203.6GB even though the included amount is 169.6GB (as stated above) so why does it require 203.6GB?
