TimeMachine Restore doesn't work

Last night I launched a Restore from TimeMachine Backup.
This morning, the progress has stalled on 0,8 %. The only thing moving on my screen is the number of hours left to go, now on about 1693 hours and mounting.
What is going on and what can I do about it?
