iOS Timer and number of touches

Hello developers,
I'm making a starter bare-bones (learning) app on touching a UIButton as many times in a specified time limit. So how can I shaw a timer using UILabel or any other thing, and how can I detect the number of touches in that time? PLEASE HELP ME!

Haha, very true. Ok, so I didn't really check Apple docs but I haven't got a clue at all as to detecting how many touches

Well, do you know how to detect one touch? That would be a good place to start. If you are so new to programming and/or Objective-C that the Apple docs make no sense whatsoever, then you should step back and learn the basics first. If you do understand the Apple docs...then use them!
