Timer Issue

So this keeps happening lately, when I set a 4 minute timer on my iPhone 13 Mini and my phone goes to sleep, the timer will run down but the alarm never goes off. The alarm used to always go off if the phone went to sleep but for some reason now it's having issues. Anyone else having this issue?
