iPhone XS Timer sound delayed when iPhone is locked but the screen is up

In the iPhone Xs, when I set up a Timer/Countdown, if it goes off with the iPhone locked but the screen up (so the iPhone didn't recognize your face yet, the lock icon is locked), it takes an additional 5 seconds until there is any sound from the timer.

Is anybody having the same behavior?
